Zibeline (Bel) Jing Yuan lionsleeps ONCE UPON A TIME, Brocade's feelings on Zibeline was a happily simple positive. Now they're a nervously happy positive. He was a famous professor who, frankly, drew a lot of business just by being there, but also by volunteering or posting pictures. They get along well, having similar thoughts on conservation, though Brocade's is far, far more urban minded than Bel. AND THEN THE DRAMA NATION ATTACKED. So here Brocade is, finally making a move on the man of his (frequently explicit) dreams and here's his ex who is trying to reconnect who's gorgeous, handsome, a philanthropist and WAY MORE RICH. AHHHHH. On one hand. He's a bully. On the other, he's easily bullied. On a third, purely hypothetical hand, holy shit all of his relationships are Complicated. Who knows how things are going to fall out. The long and the short is he needs to complain to Shura about this guy who's so good for someone and all of these other qualities he doesn't have and watch Shura try not to snap. Scent: Grass, books, and like another cat. Which only started to make sense recently. Spends a lot on hair and skin products. Made of anxiety and naps.

Velveteen (Vee) Dan Heng lifeban Another one that had RAPIDLY CHANGED. Vee has been a comfortable presence at the cafe, and fairly regular. If not out hunting for Bel, then just sat calmly reading (or napping) in the middle of the cats. Quiet and soft spoke, he did catch some humor around him watching the Meowcinary antics. Now they're ??? Finding out that Vee had been doing some parasocial ladder climbing to the love of his life had SHED SOME LIGHT. But it was also clear he has interest in Brocade and Lithium? Right now, they're friends with benefits with potential for more. Scent: The ocean, some electronically smell, good hair and horn product and oils. Somewhere between Anxiety and This May As Well Happen.

Cashmere (Cash) Gojo Satoru unlimitedtimeoff CASH IS A BRO!! One of the heavier gym rats and always up for a good time. They easily challenge each other, but honestly, Cash is someone Brocade generally trusts if it comes down to something important. And will be an absolute annoying asshole when it is only slightly important or even only vaguely urgent. Which works out because Brocade's exactly the same way. Can bully him with cats. Scent: Sweet and spicy, there's always that edge of sugar around him. Faint vanilla and warm cinnamon. A lot of times Cash just makes him hungry... Mischief and hard work.

Calico Cassander excathedra Calico's an odd one but definitely is registering as fun so far. As long as Calico's wit isn't pointed directly at Brocade, that is. Not that he can't take a joke, but PLEASE WHEN THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. (It wasn't an emergency.) The laugh is hilarious, not gonna lie. Scent: Haven't noticed

Chiffon (Chiff) Kitsuno foxtouched He fucking adores Chiff. She was dropped off by Vee without a memory in her, and almost immediately got into trouble just in pure kindness and good spirited enjoyment of others who were neither kind nor good spirited. She's a fixture around the cafe, and he makes sure she's got sweet treats and all of the company she could want. He knows she's attractive, but also knows she has an enormous amount of trust in him, and would rather punch himself in the face repeatedly than abuse that trust. He's happy to just see her dance and talk to the cats and take in the world. She's quiet and keeps to herself, but he's always delighted when he can get her chatting too. Worries about her, like he does all of his family bros. Scent: Oh, definitely incense. Hard to pin down one scent for her though, always smells sweet, always smells good. Curious and open.

Satin Alciel demonicdomestic SATIN! GOOD OL RELIABLE SATIN. Satin's always a good helper whenever he manages to catch him. Works hard and works cheap, takes cash and asks no questions. Or did when there were income streams. The best part is as long as Brocade's out of the Family lodging before Satin is up, Satin gets catsitting duty by DEFAULT. It'll be great. Satin may have yelled something or other but yadda yadda it's good for him. Put some hair on his chest. Considers him a friend (unrequited.) Scent: Shoeshine and bleach. Something lemony and old pages. Basically, stuffy personified. Mostly smells like stress and frustration.

Suede Crow Armbrust bad-crowmance CAT TOY DISPENSER. Okay he's more than that but ALSO. What a way to find out he doesn't know anything. Seems like a good sport, but sometimes, the game is US. Purrpurra (SIS) Nekomiya Mana meowckerel Their parents' health conditions - and likely the sheer amount of trouble Brocade was - meant when Purrpurra was born, she was given up for adoption. He didn't know her until recently, but he was old enough when she was born to know what was happening and make a lot of assumptions as to why. He wonders if he'd been a better kid, maybe they would have grown up together. If he hadn't been getting into fights, maybe they'd have trusted him to take care of her at home. He's only really met her recently again as they are both adults and some part of him wants to make good, to BE the brother she can rely on. He's talked to absolutely NO ONE about this, including her. Azalea (Peony) Ruan Mei abaogenesis His ex. He was in a relationship and then married to her for a few happy years and then suddenly wasn't. She was very clear it wasn't him, and was very gentle about it all... But he's never fallen out of love, and is just, instantly obedient to her. She's so kind and sweet to him even now. She's so much danger to him. Right now he's having a crisis because he doesn't know how much she MEANT when she was all flirty and sometimes he just lays down on the floor and tries not to be sad about it. Scent: Plum blossoms, buttery pastries and herbal notes. She smells like happier times.

Lotus/Lily (El) Michael Lin/Miha Nikaia toofarisnextspring Shy and quiet, they are a regular at the cafe. Attracts some of the more skittish cats. He doesn't know them very well but is quietly fond. Scent: Strong floral scents. A refreshing clear breeze.

Aster Percy Jackson perthein MEOWCINARY. Aster is his bro. Like actually just straight up has slotted him as a lil bro. Like Chiffon he tends to bond hard with those who come to him with literally nothing. And while Aster had a lot more stranger danger, he also needed him more at the time, too. So he watches out for him, takes care when he can. But also gives him shit, cheerfully and happily. The bitching between the Meowcinaries is almost the dominant form of conversation, and Aster of all of them cuts him some of the most slack. Good kid, bright future. Absolutely has let Aster roughhouse with him. Brocade is SO proud of himself for feelings terrorism with the birthday party. NONE regrets. Scent: He'll TELL Aster he smells like fish. But it's more like the surf on a high tide, ocean spray where the salt gets up into your sinuses and lingers.

Snowdrop (Snow) Hizumi Mizushiro bondsofsuffering Regular at the cafe! And a solid bro of Aster, Cinth and Nettle! Seemed to always be working on a paper but never actually making progress, but that was fine, he was great at handling the crowds just by accident sometimes. Basically, he thinks Snow is a good kid and, like most Acidia, would happily watch out for. Really does need to learn more about. Scent: Hasn't noticed/paid much attention

Hyacinth (Cinth) Traumerei bittytorrent MEOWCINARY. Cinth is another one that Brocade's door is always open to. He's positive there's shit going on in his home and there's damn well nothing he can do about it. But he'd REALLY like to. The boy's touch starved and just about as feral as some of the cats that come in. But under it, he cares a lot. He's gentle with the cats and even with Brocade in cat form. He's fun to banter with, and he'll absolutely never stop gassing the kid up. Absolutely gets cornered by the snark the most from Cinth. He has no idea that Cinth is ALSO Icarus. There's also a high chance that Cinth has taught him SUPER basic computer skills. And texting. And fixes his phone. And- yeah. Scent: There's a strong floral scent about him, and the cats are ALL over him enough that sometimes its hard to catch him in there. Bit of a bleachy smell now and then.. Aloe Vash the Stampede featherduster One of the Exes and Bros!! And one he's certainly known about, and has helped take care of Purrapurra. MAN OH MAN. So Aloe was one of the ones who was stalked by the exes GC after his arrival. Proposed to Peony and ACTUALLY SHOT DOWN. It rocked the world and all of the calculations/Spreadsheets. He absolutely thinks they should have warned him and almost certainly tried to vote for it. (There was no vote, the voting was ignored.) They're bros now, and he's pretty close with Aloe. Nettle Ruggie Buchi rugpull Listen here u lil shit. MEOWCINARY. Nettle is great. He's not there as often as some of the other bros, but he enjoys the hell out of the lil shit. He's got the mouth and is hilarious and fun to roughhouse. He usually works in the kitchen, and does a good job at his job. But he's also a little klepto. As long as he doesn't get TOO brazen with it, Brocade lets a lot slide. They have a great routine and settle into antics easily. He's keeping an eye out for him with everything going on. Aphelion Moray Ivan liveindarkness Moray's the first person Brocade has met that he knew before and after the sea got him, and hooooboy. Brocade's taken in a lot of amnesiacs and Sun Sign has a fair amount as it is... but he doesn't know what to think. He wasn't overly close to Aphelion, but they were friendly with each other. Phel was a good tipper, cheerful, in and nose deep in the books. There was a great rapport with Forte who could use the friends. And then he was gone. And now he knows why. Moray is... different. Night and day, even. Moray's clever, quick with words and even faster on the uptake. But recent conversations have settled things enough that he definitely is starting to see Moray on his own rather than a list of comparisons. Still, kid's unsettling. ALSO A BULLY. Scent: Clean scent, soaps and general care. But somethings off. There's not just a different undertone, a note he can't quite put a finger on what it is or why, but his emotions are a complete discord with his expression.
