[The tension that had been creeping up settles back out of his shoulders and he leans a little more against Phel and squeezes Val's hand gently.]

[ yeah, sitting up enough to put both of her hands on both of them, her cheeks red and brows furrowed with worry. she does kind of. curl over them both to hide her face again because weh weh weh ]

So he pulls her a little closer, both of them, sandwiching her between them. His other hand settles on Phel's shoulder.]

[ weh. he leans against Val too, nestling comfortably into the sandwich with a little nod. it's agreement -- he's had a much easier time because they're both here. ]

[ yeah eagerly letting herself be squished in between them, tucking her face into sett's arm and draping her legs over Phel's, hands curled around whatever parts of them she can most easily reach and just. huddling in between them.

She's quiet for a long time, just breathing and soaking in their warmth. ]

[He sighs, sinking down, comfortable. Warm. Happy.]

[Except...]

[He loosens one hand to sign at Aphelios. Actually he doesn't know the word so it's fingerspelled and emphasis in a lift of eyebrows.]

[ his gaze lifts up

Quiet for a moment, petting Sett's ears. Fortunately he can't see her face but Phel can, her expression uneasy and maybe a little guilty. ]

[He shifts into that petting, letting it leech the tension out of his muscles.]

... Probably some stuff I should square up with you too. Phel mostly knows but...
