[ a dog barking is heard!! The sound is coming to the door and whatever is making the sound (we hope it is a dog) snooping around and then there is the tiny sound of a cat meowing and then... door opens, whoa.

The muzzle of a dog will push the door open and step back, wagging their tail while there is a small cat not much bigger than a kitten with huge eyes but staring blankly and perched in the dogs head. Anyway the dog will turn and lead the guests back, bringing them over to Sam who has managed to get himself into the lounge and is waiting for them. He gives them a wave, and oh man it's probably actually a little weird because Sam is not in the clothes he usually wears and instead is in a hoodie and jeans (that are actually those jean-sweatpants combos.) it's probably just most strange to not see him in a full blown suit or at least wearing a button up collar shirt. Like if you thought he looked like a babyface with the suit he probably definitely now looks more obvious. ]

I don't even know. I'm pretty sure blue frosting on cupcakes makes you do something fucking stupid, though, for the record? Because we all ate blue frosting blueberry cupcake and suddenly the entire team right out was a good idea to go subway exploring.

As for the creepy path, you know, they did probably pick it for that reason. [ drinks from his beer with a thoughtful look. ] I wonder how many more creepy new paths will show up...

Ah right, I should tell you at least about the gate. It led to a hall with three paths and there were three distinct rooms. I'm not really sure if they were supposed to be connected but one was a lab, one was a library with... A bed? And one was a flower garden mass grave.

I can't figure it out at all. All I know is this place is now even more fucked up than we previously thought.

... That's true. We've only been here a little over two weeks, that's probably not even 30 minutes into a full length movie or three episodes into a series.

Hum... Yeah. Not entirely sure what they are hoping to get out of it, though. What they need is a forensics lab with the tools and tech. Part of me thinks they might just want reaffirmation that what they're seeing and dealing with is real from an outside party.

There's no physical trauma, but it would be easy to assume they died in some kind of experimentation if the rooms are connected. I just ... really can't tell? It was like waking into one of those fucked up horror-movie carnival fun houses where you can pick the path to go and each room was totally a different horror experience. Was just missing the hall of mirrors. Totally surreal.
